Entrevista em inglês? E agora?

Tem uma entrevista em inglês agendada e não sabe como se preparar?

Primeiro de tudo, tenha em mente que 95% das pessoas que trabalham em empresas que exigem o idioma no dia a dia, falam inglês suficiente para comunicar-se. Conheci muitas poucas pessoas com inglês impecável. Por essa razão, primeiramente não tente ser uma pessoa que você não é e tenha ciência que você precisa apenas conseguir se comunicar (não precisa ser um monstro da língua inglesa).

Segue abaixo as principais perguntas em inglês que já me fizeram e que eu uso nas entrevistas para pessoas que contrato. Abaixo vou escrever algumas sugestões de respostas mas é apenas um exemplo, use essa resposta como base e adapte para sua profissão.

1-Introduce yourself, tell me more about you (Introdução sobre você, me conte mais sobre você) Sugestão de resposta: My name is XXX, I was born in Minas Gerais and I have been living in São Paulo for 5 years. I studied Engineering at USP and I am looking for a post graduation in Finance

2-Tell me more about you? What do you like to do in your spare time? (Me fale mais sobre você e o que você faz no tempo livre) Sugestão de resposta: I am a sportsfan and enjoy practising sports in my spare time. My favorites are soccer and volleyball. I also enjoy hang out with my friends, travel and meet new cultures.

3-Tell me your main achievements at work or personal life? (Me fale sobre suas principais conquistas no trabalho ou vida pessoal) Sugestão de resposta: My main achievement at work was develop a business intelligence model that was very challenging as I did not have all the tools and data to do build it. I managed to collect information with different stakeholders in order to build this model that contributed to the company generating insights that could leverage sales.

4-What are your main activities in the current or past work? (Quais são/eram suas principais atividades no trabalho atual/passado) Sugestão de resposta: My main activities were: update the Excel spreadsheets, analyse sales performance, attend meeting and align deliverables, etc...

5-Tell me about a challenging situation that you have gone trough and how you succeed? (Me fale de um desafio que você enfrentou e como teve sucesso) Sugestão de resposta: In my first week in a new company, my boss was fired and I ended up being responsible for a team of 5 people however, I didn´t know the activities at all and even though I had to tell people from my team what to do. To be successfull in this case, I worked 15 hours during 2 months in a row, mapped all activities, process and organize the whole area.

6-What do you expect from this job? (O que você espera desse trabalho) Sugestão de resposta: I expect a challenging environment where I will be able to grow and develop myself. Of course a expect a friendly team where people help each other in order to achieve the goals.
